Amman: The total trading volume of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD9.5 million, with 5.1 million shares traded through 4,050 transactions. The general stock price index experienced an increase of 0.80 percent, closing at 3,092 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 100 companies traded, share prices saw an increase for 50 companies, while 17 companies experienced a decline compared to the previous session. At the sector level, the industrial and services indices showed robust growth, rising by 1.62% and 0.82%, respectively. The financial benchmark also witnessed an uptrend, climbing by 0.52%.
