Amman: Total trading at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD 6.5 million on Wednesday, with 3.8 million shares traded through 2,769 transactions. The ASE general price index closed at 3,326 points, marking a rise of 0.02% compared to the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, the industrial sector index experienced a decline of 0.33%, whereas the financial and services sectors registered increases of 0.14% and 0.06%, respectively. Out of the 105 companies traded, 35 saw an increase in share prices, while 31 experienced a decrease compared to their previous closing prices.
