Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) experienced a slight decline on Thursday, with the general share price index dropping by 0.17 percent to close at 3,837 points. The total trading volume reached JD17.1 million, with 4.8 million shares exchanged across 4,331 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 91 companies whose shares were traded, 44 companies saw their share prices increase, while 22 witnessed a decline compared to their previous closing prices. At the sector level, the industrial index decreased by 1.22%, and the services index observed a slight dip of 0.14%. In contrast, the financial index showed a modest increase of 0.19%.
