Amman:Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) amounted to JD14.9 million on Thursday. Traders exchanged a total of 5.1 million shares through 5,386 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, the general share price index saw a minor increase of 0.06 percent, closing at 4,117 points. Out of 110 companies that were traded, 33 experienced a rise in share prices compared to their previous closing values, while 46 saw a decline.
In terms of sectors, the services index decreased by 0.73 percent. Conversely, the financial sector index experienced an increase of 0.42 percent, and the industrial sector index edged up by 0.02 percent.
