Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) experienced a slight downturn on Thursday, with the general share price index falling by 0.2 percent to reach 4,213 points. The day's trading activity saw a turnover of JD12.2 million, with 4.4 million shares exchanged across 4,816 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 106 companies traded, 22 recorded an increase in their share prices, while 50 companies saw a decline compared to their previous closing prices.
Sector-wise, both the financial and industrial indexes dropped by 0.22 percent, whereas the services benchmark showed a minor decrease of 0.15 percent.
