Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index experienced a modest rise of 0.13 percent on Tuesday, closing at 4,197 points. Trading activity saw a turnover of JD8.3 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 4 million shares were exchanged through 3,570 transactions during the day's trading session.
Out of the 99 companies traded, 31 saw an increase in share prices, while 29 experienced declines. At the sectoral level, the industrial and services indexes increased by 0.49 percent and 0.19 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the financial index saw a slight decrease of 0.01 percent.
