The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) denied, on Friday, social media videos purported that shots were fired by the Jordanian Armed Forces towards citizens who converged at border areas.
An official military source in the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces said that the army applied the highest degree of caution in such conditions.
He urged the public to abide by all instructions issued by the army and the security bodies, calling on media outlets to verify when publishing such videos that may contribute to misleading public opinion and spreading rumors.
