Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, visited the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Command on Sunday to evaluate the operational readiness and efficiency of the force's units.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, the RJAF Commander provided Huneiti with an overview of the key operational and training missions, as well as the force's current level of readiness. The Commander emphasized the ongoing efforts to carry out national duties amid the evolving regional circumstances and developments. Plans and programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the RJAF in line with the modernization and development of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army were also discussed.
During the meeting, Huneiti underscored the RJAF's role as a critical component of the national defense system and lauded the personnel for their professionalism and efficiency in executing various duties and missions. He highlighted that this dedication is crucial for safeguarding the Kingdom, maintaining its security and stability, and fulfilling responsibilities with competence, in alignment with the Royal directives and vision.
The briefing also covered the RJAF's strategies for addressing regional developments and maintaining high levels of operational preparedness. The focus remains on ensuring the efficient execution of duties and missions. A number of senior JAF officers were present at the meeting.
