Amman: Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Ahmed Huneiti visited the King Faisal II/16th Battalion, part of the King Hussein Bin Ali Brigade, where he was received by the brigade commander.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, Huneiti was briefed by the brigade commander on operational, training, and logistical matters, as well as the assigned tasks and the combat readiness of the brigade and its units, in line with the General Command's directives.
He stressed that maintaining a high level of combat readiness remains a top priority amid rapidly evolving challenges, underscoring the importance of continuing specialised training programmes to keep pace with field developments and enhance the ability to respond effectively to various threats.
Huneiti called for military discipline, professionalism, and teamwork, describing them as essential pillars for the successful execution of duties and for strengthening the Armed Forces' operational efficiency under all circumstances.
He met with battalion personnel and conveyed the greetings and pride of His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, commending their high level of readiness and professionalism in carrying out assigned duties.
