Ankara: Chief of the Joint Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, visited Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSA?) and Turkish defense company ROKETSAN, where he was briefed on the companies' programs in military aviation and advanced air systems. According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, Huneiti held discussions with the Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries, Haluk G?rgn, focusing on joint cooperation prospects in defense industries. The talks covered areas such as technology transfer, development and manufacturing, and building strategic partnerships that align with the common interests of both countries. The discussions aimed to explore ways to enhance collaboration in defense industries to build technological partnerships and establish an industrial base capable of supporting the armed forces and security needs of both nations. In the presence of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), along with the Jordanian ambassador and military attaché in Ankara, Huneiti emphasized the importance of leveraging advanced Turkish expertise in defense industries. He highlighted that this collaboration would improve the JAF's technical and operational efficiency and contribute to the training of human resources in this sector.
