Army Chief and Norwegian Ambassador Discuss Military Cooperation

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, received Norwegian Ambassador Mona Juul on Sunday at the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army. The meeting included high-ranking Jordanian Armed Forces officers and the Norwegian defense attach©, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation and coordination across various fields.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions also encompassed regional and international developments, aiming to serve the interests of both countries’ armed forces. Major General Huneiti emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between Jordan and Norway and stressed the necessity for unified international efforts to promote global security and peace.

Ambassador Juul praised Jordan’s significant role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in ensuring security and stability in the region. The meeting underscored the mutual commitment to strengthening military cooperation and addressing shared security challenges.
