Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Tuesday discussed with Canada’s Special Envoy for Syria Omar Alghabra, aspects of bilateral cooperation and frameworks for joint coordination. During the meeting, the two sides also went over the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
According to Jordan News Agency, Alghabra praised the Kingdom’s role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, at various levels, noting its efforts to establish the foundations of regional peace and stability. A number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and the Canadian Defense Attach© in Amman attended the meeting.
