The Arab Potash Company Wednesday said it made JOD153 million in profits by the end of the third quarter of 2024, according to the Company’s financial statements.
The financial statements showed that the net sales revenues achieved by the Company and its subsidiaries by the end of the third quarter amounted to about JOD509 million. The profit before tax reached JOD212 million, which confirms the company’s efficiency in maintaining its position in the global fertiliser market.
Company Chairperson of the Board of Directors Shahada Abu Hadeeb, said the Company’s “positive results reflect its ability to deal efficiently with the fluctuations in the global fertiliser market, including the potash market.”
He explained that the Company, its subsidiaries and allied companies provided the Kingdom’s foreign currency reserves with $996 million during the 9 months of 2024.
He explained that the company has an “essential” role in enhancing global food security by providing high-quality potash products to many countri
es.
He added that the company has succeeded in entering new markets while maintaining its traditional markets. He praised the government for creating an appropriate investment environment for the fertiliser and chemical sectors by enacting and implementing laws and legislation regulating investment in the Kingdom.
Company CEO Maan Nsour addressed the Company’s expansion vision and investment projects that aim to diversify its customer base and enter non-traditional markets.
