Arab Parliament Condemns Israeli Actions in Gaza as Genocidal War Crime.

Amman: The Arab Parliament has once again denounced what it describes as the ongoing aggression by Israeli forces against the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories. The legislative body emphasized that these actions constitute a genocidal war and a comprehensive war crime, violating international laws, humanitarian laws, and the Geneva Convention regarding the treatment of civilians in wartime.

According to Jordan News Agency, The statement coincided with the 107th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, urging the international community and the British government to acknowledge their historical responsibilities. The Arab Parliament called for action to rectify the injustices inflicted upon the Palestinian people since the issuance of the declaration, which it criticized as Britain granting “what he does not have to those who do not deserve it.”

The Arab Parliament highlighted that the Balfour Declaration led to the infringement of the Palestinian people’s fundamental rights and their displ
acement, stripping them of their legitimate entitlements. The legislative body reiterated that the path to regional security, stability, and peace lies in ending the Israeli occupation and recognizing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, as outlined by international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

In its statement, the Arab Parliament reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s pursuit of their rights, including the right of return and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
