Amman: Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Yamahi on Monday condemned the recent Iranian attacks on Jordan and Kuwait, labeling them a "blatant violation" of sovereignty and international law. Yamahi characterized the assaults as a perilous escalation that puts regional security at risk, undermining ongoing diplomatic efforts to alleviate tensions.
According to Jordan News Agency, Yamahi assured that the Arab Parliament stands in full solidarity with both Jordan and Kuwait, endorsing any measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, national security, and citizens. He emphasized that any threat to the territorial integrity of an Arab state endangers the collective security of the entire Arab region.
Yamahi urged the international community to hold the perpetrators accountable and to take decisive actions to uphold international law, aiming to prevent any further escalation of the situation.
