Arab League to hold emergency meeting Tuesday on Palestine

The Arab League announced that an emergency meeting will be held on Tuesday, at the level of permanent delegates, at the headquarters of the League’s General Secretariat in Cairo.

In a statement on Monday, the Arab League emphasized that this meeting in an extraordinary session of the Arab League Council will be held in light of the brutality of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and in light of the crimes of genocide committed by Israel in a more brutal stage through which the Israeli aggression aims to exterminate Palestinian civilians and implement the most heinous forms of forced displacement, destruction, and starvation, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, in a systematic plan to completely empty it of its population amid international helplessness and silence.
