The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) Sunday expressed its solidarity and support for Algeria and condolences on the victims of the wildfires that killed many and caused heavy losses across the country.
The AIPU warned in a statement against the danger of natural disasters, urging Arab countries and the international community to increase levels of cooperation and coordination to take the necessary preventive measures to control natural disasters.
It expressed its confidence in the ability of the Algerian people to overcome the consequences of the wildfires and other difficulties and obstacles, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
