Amman: Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Lina Annab met Tuesday in Amman with Paul Stevens, CEO of Operations for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at Accor Hotel Group. Stevens was accompanied by Senior Vice President of Operations for the Middle East and Africa Philip Jones and Regional Vice President for the Group in the Middle East Michael Nugent.
According to Jordan News Agency, the discussion focused on Accor’s investment plans in Jordan and the group’s pivotal role in the global tourism and hospitality sector. Annab emphasized Jordan’s commitment to enhancing its tourism and hospitality industry, aiming to attract global investments that will bolster the national economy and create job opportunities. She highlighted the Kingdom’s ongoing development efforts to build an integrated tourism infrastructure that appeals to visitors.
Stevens expressed appreciation for the Jordanian government’s efforts in positioning the country as a preferred destination for tourism and investment. He reaffirmed Accor’s dedication to increasing investments in the region and contributing to the growth of the hospitality sector in Jordan.
