Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index decreased by 0.59% on Monday, closing at 4,046 points. The total trading value for the day was JD 9.1 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 3.3 million shares were traded through 3,751 transactions. All three sector indices experienced declines. The industrial sector fell by 0.84%, the services sector dropped by 0.60%, and the financial sector saw a loss of 0.49%.
Among the 109 companies with traded shares, 24 recorded price gains, while 51 posted declines compared to their previous closing prices.
