Amman:The general share price index on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) increased by 0.38 percent, closing at 4,206 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, the exchange saw a turnover of JD10.8 million on Thursday, with 7.1 million shares trading hands across 5,494 transactions.
Out of the 115 companies that were traded, 64 companies saw their share prices rise, while 28 experienced a decline. By sector, the financial sector index rose by 0.47 percent, the services sector index increased by 0.30 percent, and the industrial sector index went up by 0.25 percent.
