US Ambassador Henry Wooster has underlined his country’s support for Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision and the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
“The US reaffirms the unwavering commitment to Jordan and King Abdullah II’s leadership as a strategic partner and force for peace in the region, and stands ready to support the Kingdom’s efforts in moving this 10-year Vision and Roadmap to reality,” the envoy said in a statement released Monday.
In recent months, Jordan has embarked on crucial efforts to advance its economy and chart a path forward for its citizens, he added.
He noted that the Kingdom is entering its second centennial with an ambitious national agenda, addressing its economic needs inclusive of women, youth, and persons with disabilities, while modernizing its public sector to heighten efficiencies and improve services.
