Head of the Royal Committee to Modernise Political System, Senator Samir al-Rifai, expressed surprise over rumors of constitutional amendments relating to state religion.
Chairing the committee’s second meeting, al-Rifai stressed that the areas of competence of the committee include constitutional amendments relating to election and political parties laws and mechanisms to uplift parliamentary work.
Al-Rifai stressed the need of obtaining information only from reliable sources through the media spokesperson.
