Al AlBayt university president discusses cooperation with Malaysian universities

President of the Al AlBayt University, Hani Dmour, and Malaysia’s Ambassador to Jordan, Datuk Jilid Kuminding, on Tuesday discussed bolstering ties between the two parties in various fields, especially academic and cultural spheres.

Damour reaffirmed the university’s keenness to continue communication and meetings between academic institutions in Malaysia and Al AlBayt University in all fields, adding that the university is concerned with affairs if international students of various nationalities, especially Malaysian students, by providing all necessary educational services.

He pointed out that the university still aspires to accept more Malaysian students to study at the university due to the unique specializations it offers to students that suit their educational desires and tendencies, especially teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, in addition to activating all agreements signed between the university and Malaysian universities to benefit from both sides expertise in the educational, academic and cultural fields.

For his part, Kuminding lauded efforts of the Al AlBayt University in embracing Malaysian students, who constitute a fair percentage compared to their colleagues in other Jordanian universities, due to the university’s distinguished reputation, stressing that utmost efforts will be made to increase the number of Malaysian students to Al AlBayt University next year.
