Mafraq: President of Al al-Bayt University, Osama Nusier, met with Belgian Ambassador to Jordan, Serge Dickschen, to explore opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration between Al al-Bayt University and Belgian institutions.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, Nusier highlighted the university’s academic programs and research initiatives, expressing a strong desire to expand student exchange and academic cooperation with Belgian universities.
Ambassador Dickschen emphasized the important role universities play in fostering cultural awareness and global understanding. He provided an overview of Belgium’s historical and cultural heritage as part of the discussions.
The ambassador acknowledged the strong political relations between Jordan and Belgium, noting that these ties continue to grow across various fields. He expressed interest in advancing academic exchange and collaboration between the two nations.
Following the meeting, the ambassador engaged in a dialogue session with students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, discussing international culture and education.
The meeting was attended by Vice President for Community Affairs Hani Akho Irsheida and Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Mohammad Al-Khatib.
