The Speaker of the Shura Council, Muhammad Hussein Al-Aidaroos, met on Saturday with the Minister of Public Works and Roads in the caretaker government, Ghaleb Mutlaq.
The meeting, which was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Muhammad Hassan Al-Durra, reviewed the activity of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and its efforts in implementing its programs and its affiliated entities within the framework of implementing its annual plan within the national vision plans.
He touched on the difficulties and problems facing the Ministry and the projects that faltered as a result of the aggression and ways to address them, in addition to the projects that the Ministry intends to implement with funding from the World Bank, the expected support from the sister State of Kuwait and their importance in serving development aspects.
In the meeting, the Speaker of the Shura Council praised the achievements of the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in rehabilitating bridges and roads destroyed by the aggr
ession and its efforts in implementing the tasks and activities assigned to it in light of the exceptional circumstances and scarcity of capabilities.
