Ajloun municipality poised to open EV charge station

The Mayor of Ajloun Municipality, Hamza Zghoul, and the Director of the Economic Development and Sustainable Energy Project in Jordan, Muhammad Ramadan, Wednesday discussed ways to open the EV charge station in Ajloun and operational issues.

Zghoul noted the need to open the station as soon as possible so that Ajloun residents can enjoy the services of the first EV charge station in the governorate, adding that the municipality would not charge fees for the station’s charging services.

He said that the station needs equipment and supplies to be able to charge all types of electric cars, noting that the municipality would train qualified staff to operate the station, whose working hours would be from 8 am until 2 pm.

Ramadan, in turn, said the Project is keen to deliver training for municipality staff to operate the station.
