Amman: The second edition of the Ajloun Cable Car Summer Festival is set to begin on Friday in the northern governorate, offering visitors a lineup of cultural, musical, and recreational events to promote sustainable tourism in the area.
According to Jordan News Agency, the festival will run until August 23, featuring live performances from artists Hussam and Wissam Al-Louzi, as well as the Hussein and Kafrnjah troupes. Additionally, a bazaar will host more than 80 vendors, showcasing local handicrafts and products. The event also includes various family-friendly activities designed to engage visitors of all ages.
Organizers are incentivizing attendance by offering a 25% discount on cable car tickets for both Jordanians and foreigners throughout the festival. Special offers at on-site restaurants and cafes will further enhance the visitor experience. Mohammad Al-Waked, director general of the Jordanian Free and Development Zones Group, emphasized the festival’s objective of establishing the Ajloun Cable Car as a cultural and tourism hub that combines entertainment, heritage, and the natural beauty of the area.
