Amman: The AI Education Forum is set to commence in Amman next Saturday, focusing on the future of education amid rapid advances in AI technologies. The event aims to forge practical visions and strategies to enhance the Kingdom's learning system.

According to Jordan News Agency, the two-day event will be held under the theme "Reimagining Education in the AI Age" and will feature a select group of educational and academic leaders, decision-makers, experts, and innovators. The forum's objectives include exchanging experiences, reviewing the best global practices, and promoting the use of AI technologies to improve learning quality and empower teachers and students with future-oriented skills.

The event is aligned with national trends supporting digital transformation and the development of Jordan's education sector. This initiative is based on Royal interest in accelerating digital transformation, empowering youth, and improving learning quality to build a modern and effective educational system that keeps pace with global changes, preparing generations for the knowledge economy.

Participants will discuss the latest global trends in AI use in education, the impact of proxy and generative AI technologies on teaching and learning, the redesign of assessment methods, and the review of applicable tools and frameworks for implementation within educational institutions.

The forum serves as a national platform for dialogue and collaboration among educational and academic leaders, experts, and practitioners. Activities aim to exchange expertise, strengthen partnerships between educational institutions and the public and private sectors, and develop feasible recommendations to accelerate responsible and effective AI integration.

Held as Jordan continues to strengthen its position as a regional hub for education, innovation, and digital transformation, the forum is based on the Jordan AI Strategy, the National Digital Transformation Strategy, and the expansion of AI and digital skills education programs. These efforts align with national goals to build a knowledge-based economy and invest in human capital.

The organizers expect the forum will forge practical visions and recommendations to enhance the use of AI technologies in the education sector, supporting efforts to develop the Kingdom's educational system in line with global changes and enhancing the competitiveness of Jordan's education sector.
