Amman:The Ministry of Agriculture has urged farmers to report any damage to crops and infrastructure caused by recent severe weather events, including strong winds, heavy rain, and hail. Farmers are encouraged to contact their local agricultural directorates beginning Wednesday.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry aims to systematically assess and document all agricultural losses throughout the affected regions. This effort seeks to ensure that the extent of the damage is accurately recorded.
Damage assessment committees within provincial and district agricultural directorates have been instructed to accept applications from farmers. These committees will also conduct field inspections to verify the impact of the storm damage, following standard operating procedures.
