Amman: President of the Jordan Agricultural Engineers Association Ali Abu Nuqta and Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Guo Wei met Sunday to discuss expanding technical cooperation, professional training, and agricultural technology transfer between the two nations.
According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Nuqta emphasized the association's commitment to leveraging China's advanced expertise to enhance the professional capacities of Jordanian agricultural engineers. He noted that integrating modern tech transfer and localized innovation remains critical to driving sustainable development across Jordan's agricultural sector.
The Chinese ambassador commended the strategic role Jordanian agricultural engineers play in sectoral modernization, reaffirming Beijing's interest in deepening bilateral knowledge exchange and technical partnership to serve mutual development goals.
Both parties agreed to launch joint initiatives and programs tailored to upgrading engineering competencies and facilitating the exchange of technical and field expertise.
The meeting was attended by Vice President of the Association Shadi Al-Qaisi, Board Secretary Ibrahim Al-Habarneh, Board Treasurer Mohammad Al-Lala, and several senior officials from the Chinese Embassy.
