Agreement Inked to Support People With Motor Disabilities

Amman: The National Aid Fund (NAF) and Al-Reyadah Charitable Society for Motor Empowerment on Monday signed a cooperation agreement to facilitate access by people with physical disabilities from NAF-beneficiary families to prosthetics, assistive mobility devices, and maintenance services provided by the association, in line with available financial resources and its support programs.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement reflects the fund's commitment to strengthening partnerships with specialized institutions to connect beneficiaries with quality services that meet their needs and support their integration into society, NAF Director General Khitam Shneikat said. She emphasized that the NAF is working to expand its cooperation network with civil society organizations to ensure beneficiary families have access to specialized services that improve their quality of life and increase their benefit from available support programs.

The Society's President Raed Khattab remarked that the agreement marks an important step toward enabling people with motor disabilities to obtain the prosthetics and assistive devices they need, thus helping strengthen their independence and ability to carry out daily activities. The collaboration is part of both sides' efforts to enhance integration in the delivery of social and humanitarian services. It aims to expand opportunities for people with motor disabilities to benefit from rehabilitation and support services that improve their quality of life.
