The governor of Aden, Tariq Salam, warned against the aggression attempt and its tools to drag Yemen towards a conflict of fragmentation and division after eight years of aggression, siege and occupation.
Governor Salam indicated in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the recent moves of the so-called consultative meeting of the southern components reflect the seriousness of the malicious intentions and exposed plots of the aggression forces, occupation in dividing and fragmenting the country, prolonging the war, exacerbating the suffering of citizens and evading their obligations towards the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression and siege.
He affirmed the rejection of the honorable southern components of the outputs of that false meeting, which legitimizes the occupier’s criminal practices and its legal and humanitarian violations in the occupied southern lands, and drags Yemen and its unity into a triangle of killing, destruction and division.
He pointed out that Yemen and its steadfast people will not accept any steps taken by the occupier and its tools towards the interests of the homeland, its unity and the safety of its lands, stressing that such exposed plots will fail with God’s help and will not discourage the Yemeni people from continuing their struggle in confronting the projects of aggression and its mercenaries with awareness, determination, Disappointment and mirage.
And Salam indicated that the aggression forces and occupation are trying, through these moves, to shuffle the cards within its goals and plans aimed at stirring up grudges and strife among the Yemeni people, which may cause a wave of conflict and deadly wars that kill Yemeni blood and plunge the country into a quagmire of fragmentation and division.
He also stressed the right of Yemenis to preserve and defend their national gains ,constants, and that Yemeni unity will remain a source of inspiration and pride for every honorable Yemeni and the solid rock on which the enemy’s conspiracies will be shattered.
