Some 978,915 voters, or 21.8 per cent out of a 4.599-million electorate, have voted in the elections for municipal councils, governorate councils, and the Greater Amman Municipality Council by 04:00pm on Tuesday.
According to real-time updates by the Independent Election Commission (IEC), 11.3 per cent of those who voted in today’s polls were males, while the percentage of female voters stood at 9.9 percent.
