Meteorology predicts cold weather and rainfall of varying intensity

The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected cold to relatively cold weather in a number of provinces, and rain of varying intensity during the next 24 hours. The center said in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that it expects cold weather in Sa'ada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar, and Al-Bayda, while it may be relatively cold in the highlands of Hajjah, Al-Mahwet, Raymah, Ibb, and Taiz. Al-Dhale', Lahj, Abyan, Al-Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramaut and Al-Mahra provinces during the night and early morning. The center reported that the lowest temperatures recorded at some monitoring stations this morning reached 3.4 in Dhamar, 4.7 in Sana'a, 5.5 in Amran, 7.6 in Al-Sadda, and 10 in Ibb. The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children and patients, in mountainous areas and inland plateaus, against the cold weather, and in areas where rain is expected, against being present or crossing flood streams during and after the rain, calling for ca ution.
