General Attorney inspects judicial work in Al-Dhale’ and orders number of prisoners release

The Attorney General, Judge Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Al-Dailami, inspected the progress of judicial work in the districts of Damt and Jaban in Al-Dhale' province. Dr. Al-Dailami, along with the director of the province's security, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Hamzi, were briefed on the conditions of prisoners in the reserves of the two directorates, and they heard from the head of the Damt Court, Judge Jaber Al-Hadrami, an explanation of the measures taken towards them, their requests, and the level of care provided to them. He stressed keenness to implement the law, protect rights and freedoms, and follow up on criminal cases referred by the prosecution to the courts. Judge Al-Dailami praised the efforts made by the Province Security Department in following up with the prosecution and providing for the needs of prisoners despite the difficult circumstances. While the Director of province Security appreciated the visit of the Public Prosecutor, and his interest in the issues and conditions of prisoners. He pointed to the work procedures and mechanisms, the level of communication, and coordination with the prosecution to ensure that prisoners obtain their legally guaranteed rights.
