Algerian National Building condemns aggression against Yemen

The Algerian National Construction Movement condemned the US-UK aggression that affected several cities in the Republic of Yemen. The Algerian movement said in a statement on Saturday that the aggression "contradicts what is required by the necessity of maintaining international peace and security, especially when the movement is far from a UN mandate." In its statement, it stressed that this military intervention in Yemen leads to thwarting the efforts made by the United Nations and the mediating parties to achieve a settlement and bring peace to the country, which reflects positively on the establishment of security in the Gulf and all countries of the region. The movement warned that any pretext to control and secure international waters and corridors is unjustified, pointing out that the mission of international peace and security is a collective, institutional mission and not an individual mission based on the possession of force. The movement stressed that it is not possible to separate what the Ye meni armed forces are doing in terms of resistance to genocide in Palestine, forced displacement, and attacks on holy sites, and the Zionist aggression against Gaza, which led to repercussions that went beyond the borders of the Strip to expand its geographical area, including the Red Sea region. It stressed that the continuation of the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip would threaten to ignite the entire region and push towards a comprehensive escalation that threatens regional and international peace and security. In the face of the dangerous deterioration of the situation, the movement called on international actors to 'awaken conscience' and put pressure to immediately end the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and provide protection for the Palestinians.
