State Minister, Ahmed Al-Ali and Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, inspected the progress of restoration and maintenance work on a number of streets and sidewalks in the secretariat as part of preparations for celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
Al-Ali and Abad reviewed the asphalt restorations, repair of curbs, maintenance , painting of sidewalks, installation of trap covers, and cleaning of tunnel tanks on Spinning Factory Street and Al-Sayyah Roundabout until Shaoub Market, and Arab States Street towards the Ma’rib Roundabout and Al-Nasr Street, within the framework of the emergency project costing 700 million riyals, funded by the local authority.
They heard from the Director of the Executive Unit for the Construction , Maintenance of Roads and Public Places in the Municipality, Engineer Abdul Malik Al-Ansi, an explanation about the nature of the work carried out by the unit, which includes the restoration of potholes and the maintenance of sidewalk sidewalks and central islands, as well as traffic improvements in the various streets of the Municipality.
Al-Ali praised the role of the Executive Unit in carrying out maintenance , restoration work on the streets and sidewalks of the capital secretariat in preparation for the celebration of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.
