The general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 16.04 points, or 0.15%, at the beginning of Monday's trading, to reach the level of 10,560.78 points, compared to yesterday's closing.
The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in Telecoms by 0.59%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.24%; Insurance by 0.18%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.12%; and Industrials by 0.03%. On the other hand, the general index recorded a rise in Transportation by 0.35%; and Real Estate by 0.21%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,223 transactions worth QR 55,445,097.444, distributed to 25,392,387 shares.
