President Jakov Milatovic of Montenegro received the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, during his official visit to the Republic of Montenegro. The meeting took place this evening at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Podgorica.
During the meeting, President Milatovic highlighted the strong and deep bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, expressing admiration for the significant development that the Kingdom is witnessing in the economic, cultural, and social fields.
President Milatovic announced his country's support for the Kingdom's bid to host Expo 2030. He also expressed his pleasure at the opening of direct flights between the two countries, which will facilitate economic exchange and tourist reception in his country.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to the president and expressed their heartfelt wishes for continued progress and stability for Montenegro, its leadership, and its people.
Dr. Abdullatif also congratulated President Milatovic on assuming the presidency of his country and wished him continued success and prosperity for his country.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Non-Resident Ambassador to Montenegro Faisal bin Ghazi Hifzi; and a number of officials.
