Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index experienced a decline of 0.21% on Tuesday, closing at 4,037 points. The total trading value for the day reached JD 8.3 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 2.6 million shares were exchanged through 3,061 transactions during the session. This trading activity saw the industrial sector index fall by 0.40%, while the services and financial sectors declined by 0.34% and 0.08%, respectively.
Out of the 99 companies with traded shares, 24 companies saw an increase in their share prices, whereas 41 companies recorded a decrease compared to their previous closing prices.
