According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 178 charitable and women's associations and federations across the Kingdom have received JD 254,000 in financial assistance this year. This funding is part of the Ministry of Social Development's Associations' Subsidy Program.

The Ministry stated that the financial aid is intended to empower the voluntary sector and enhance its role in providing services to target groups. The initiative also aims to assist associations in responding more effectively to community needs and improving the quality and reach of their services.

At the beginning of the year, the Ministry invited associations and federations under its supervision to apply for financial assistance through the program's unified funding window. A total of 359 applications were received, submitted through the Ministry’s field directorates across the governorates.

All applications were evaluated based on approved criteria and regulations to ensure that the funds were allocated to eligible associations and federations. This process is designed to maximize the impact of the support, enhance service delivery, and promote the long-term sustainability of the associations sector.
