Jordanian Food Companies Highlight Products at SIAL Paris 2026

Paris:Fifteen Jordanian food manufacturing companies have begun showcasing their products at the SIAL Paris 2026 exhibition, which opened at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

According to Jordan News Agency, the event, organized by the Jordan Exporters Association (JEA), features a three-day Jordanian pavilion. The aim is to expand the reach of Jordanian food products in European and global markets, open new export opportunities, and establish commercial partnerships.

The participating companies present a wide range of products, including chocolates, confectionery, halva, tahini, sesame derivatives, traditional Oriental sweets, dates, canned goods, canned fish, spices, legumes, staple foodstuffs, roasted coffee, and specialized culinary ingredients.

Senator Ahmad Al-Khodari, President of the JEA, highlighted that the pavilion serves as a strategic platform to showcase the quality and competitiveness of Jordanian food manufacturing. He stressed that entering markets with stringent quality and technical standards is crucial for advancing national export-driven industrial growth and creating jobs.

JEA Director-General Halim Abu Rahmeh noted that supporting local firms, especially SMEs, at international trade fairs is vital for networking with global distributors, retail buyers, and importers, potentially transforming commercial meetings into long-lasting export contracts.

SIAL Paris, held every two years, is a major global food and beverage trade exhibition that brings together producers, exporters, and industry leaders from around the world.
