Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index experienced a 0.32 percent increase, closing at 4,180 points on Tuesday. The trading value for the day reached JD12.3 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 5.8 million shares were exchanged across 4,695 transactions. Among the 109 companies traded, 32 saw their share prices rise, while 38 experienced declines.
In sectoral performance, the financial sector index increased by 0.72 percent, and the services sector saw a slight rise of 0.06 percent. Conversely, the industrial sector index fell by 0.68 percent.
