Hanoi:Health Minister Ibrahim Badour has enacted a ban on the sale of bagged chips in school canteens throughout the country. This decision adds to an existing list of items prohibited from being sold within schools.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ban was published on Thursday in the Official Gazette. It was issued under the 2012 Health Requirements for School Canteens and Permitted and Prohibited Foods, specifically Clause 10 of Article Third, and its amendments. This regulation is based on Articles 3 and 4/f of Public Health Law No. 47 of 2008 and its subsequent amendments.
The aim of the ban is to protect students by promoting healthy eating habits and maintaining safety standards within school environments. The decision is effective immediately following its publication in the Official Gazette.
