Amman:Temperatures are set to rise slightly on Wednesday with moderate weather anticipated across most regions, while parts of the south and east may experience afternoon showers and occasional thunder, as forecasted by the Jordan Meteorological Department.
According to Jordan News Agency, varying cloud altitudes will be present throughout the day, and the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will continue to experience relatively hot conditions. Northeasterly winds are expected to be moderate, occasionally becoming active.
The department has issued a warning about reduced visibility in the early morning due to fog over high mountain areas and plains, with dust also potentially affecting visibility in the Badia region.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 27 degrees Celsius in East Amman and 25 C in West Amman, compared to 23 C in the northern highlands and 22 C in the Sharah highlands. Highs are expected to be 28 C across the plains and 29 C in the Badia, with temperatures rising to 33 C in the northern Jordan Valley, 36 C in the southern Jordan Valley, 35 C at the Dead Sea, and 34 C in Aqaba.
Temperatures will rise again on Thursday, aligning with seasonal averages. The moderate weather will persist across most regions, although the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively hot. Clouds at mid and high altitudes are anticipated over eastern areas.
The moderate weather conditions are forecast to continue on Friday, with another slight temperature increase expected on Saturday. The weekend is predicted to start with relatively hot weather in the Badia and hotter conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
