Al-Balqa Applied University and Sultan Qaboos Academy Discuss Educational Collaboration in Police Sciences

Amman:Al-Balqa Applied University hosted a delegation from Oman's Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences to explore expanding cooperation in police sciences, academic quality, and specialized higher education and training. The delegation was led by Academy Commander Brig. Gen. Dr. Khalifa bin Hamad Al Far'i.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions focused on potential collaboration in postgraduate studies and specialized diploma programs, with particular emphasis on the Rehabilitation and Correctional Centers Diploma. The Omani delegation also examined BAU's approach to designing and developing specialized academic programs during their visit.

This visit is part of the academy's initiative to learn from BAU's academic models and strengthen links between Jordanian and Omani institutions. BAU President Al-Ajlouni emphasized the importance of maintaining academic ties with Oman and the benefits of sharing expertise to enhance academic programs and their outcomes.

Brig. Gen. Al-Far'i commended BAU's academic practices, noting the valuable opportunity to explore the university's work in developing police sciences programs. He highlighted the significance of cooperation in curriculum development and quality assurance.

The delegation received a detailed briefing on BAU's Rehabilitation and Correctional Centers Diploma, including its structure and assessment methods. The meeting also covered ways to develop programs that meet practical institutional requirements, emphasizing the exchange of experiences in academic quality and professional training.
