Amman:The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) has evacuated the 33rd group of sick children from the Gaza Strip as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative. This effort follows directives from the Jordanian leadership.
According to Jordan News Agency, the recent group includes 51 children, accompanied by 53 family members, who have been brought to Jordan to receive medical treatment at various hospitals. This is part of ongoing humanitarian and medical aid provided to Palestinians in Gaza.
The medical evacuations, which began in March 2025, are coordinated by the JAF, the Ministry of Health, and the World Health Organization (WHO). These operations adhere to approved medical standards, ensuring the children receive appropriate care.
This initiative underscores Jordan's commitment to supporting Palestinians and alleviating suffering in Gaza, focusing on vulnerable groups in need of specialized healthcare. Under the guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan maintains its dedication to providing humanitarian and medical relief to sick and injured Palestinians in the region.
