Hot Weather Conditions to Persist in Jordan Throughout the Week

Amman: The weather on Tuesday will be relatively hot across most areas and very hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds occasionally picking up in the Badia, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD). According to Jordan News Agency, the weather will remain relatively hot across most areas on Wednesday and Thursday, and very hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate during these days, providing some relief in certain areas. On Friday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly, bringing moderate summer weather to most areas. However, conditions will remain hot in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds continuing. Today's maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman will range between 36°C and 24°C, compared with 34°C and 22°C in West Amman. In the northern highlands, temperatures will be between 31°C and 21°C, while in the Sharah Mountains, they will range from 32°C to 20°C. The Badia will experience temperatures from 39°C to 23°C, and the plains will see a range of 35°C to 20°C. In terms of specific areas, temperatures in the Northern Jordan Valley will reach 41°C and 26°C, while the Southern Jordan Valley will see 42°C and 29°C. The Dead Sea and Aqaba will both experience temperatures reaching 42°C, with minimums of 28°C and 29°C, respectively.
