Job Fair in Mafraq Offers 500 Employment Opportunities

Mafraq: A job fair organized by the Mafraq Labour Directorate in cooperation with Umm Al-Jimal Municipality and private-sector institutions provided 500 employment opportunities for job seekers in the governorate. Held under the patronage of Mafraq Governor Firas Abu Qaoud, the fair is part of efforts to empower residents of the Northern Badia, create new opportunities for young people, and boost employment to support local development. The event drew a large turnout, reflecting strong interest in and confidence in such initiatives.

According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Qaoud said job fairs were particularly important for job seekers, noting that the event brought together several specialized companies operating in Mafraq, offering numerous employment opportunities. He said authorities would follow up on the seriousness of such job fairs, particularly as various private-sector institutions had demonstrated a commitment to providing jobs for residents of Mafraq. Abu Qaoud urged job seekers to participate in such events to compete for the available positions.

Director of the Mafraq Labor Directorate Ayman Al-Khawaldeh said 25 private-sector institutions took part in the fair, offering 500 jobs in the governorate. He urged job seekers who were unable to attend the event to register through the Sajjil platform.

Umm Al-Jimal Municipal Committee Chairman Mohammad Abu Alim praised the job fair and the efforts of all participating parties, stressing that effective cooperation between the public and private sectors contributed to achieving the event's objectives and expanding employment opportunities for local residents. He said work would continue to organize similar initiatives serving the local community.
