The maqasid charity hospital-jordan: hosted a free medical day in the Jabal Al-Nasr area on Wednesday as part of the Minister of Awqaf And Islamic Affairs's Zakat Fund local outreach program.
According to Jordan News Agency, a specialized medical team treated 289 patients, offering diagnostic testing, ultrasound scans for pregnant women, and free medications, according to Hospital Director-General Bassam Shloul. Supported by the Zakat Fund, the Maqasid Hospital hosted 14 free medical days serving 4,622 patients in 2026, bringing its total to 133 mobile clinics and over 76,500 patients nationwide since 2018.
The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve healthcare access nationwide, Shloul said.
